She has taken part in most aspects of veterinary science including working as an emergency vet at Veterinary Specialist of Sydney, wild life care in Africa, Bali street dog rescue and now runs The Integrated Vet, formerly Bondi Home Vet, an mobile vet service.

Channette has completed internships at SASH and Zurich University in Switzerland. She is an integrative veterinarian and holds a diploma in natural healthcare for pets, an advance diploma of homeopathy and is a member of the integrative veterinary association.
